Richlyn Construction, Inc. is a third generation builder based in Mandeville, Louisiana. The Weixel name goes back over 50 years in the New Orleans construction market when Richard Weixel Sr. began building in the 1950's. In the early 1980's his son, Richard Jr. began construction full-time, reinforcing the philosophy of unsurpassed service and quality in the building industry. And in 1993 his son, (and the third generation to pick up the mantle) Richard S. Weixel, joined the family team.
With a strong philosophy of customer satisfaction and a
team of dedicated subcontractors and suppliers, Richlyn Construction is a
leading builder in St. Tammany Parish. "Some of our subs have been with us 15
years, so we have a good relationship with them. They're all team players that
know how we operate and what we want. Our subs produce the level of quality we
expect and that quality shows when clients compare our homes to other builders.
What is in the foundation and inside the walls is just as important as what can be seen," says Richard.
Staying in constant communication with crews, the Richlyn
office staff and the customer ensures a smoothly run job site. Attention to
detail, even down to the smallest finishing touches, has given the Weixels a
steady customer referral base.
"When the prospective customer first comes to us, they
receive a packet that includes our professional resume and a client list
containing contact information on the last 50 homes we have built. We invite
them to contact these people. We like them to tell first-hand what it is like
to deal with us.
Richard and his wife Rosa can look back on over five
